AICE Version 4.5 Enterprise Editions
Frequently Asked Questions
Same great software: 2 New Editions
- Enterprise Multi-Database - This edition is for multiple facilities needing to store their AICE databases on a wide-area network server but also wanting to design and control their own databases. Because each facility's database is independent, facilities cannot share data nor analyze combined data. All facilities must purchase the same AICE modules and pay their combined Annual Maintenance and Service Agreements (AMSA) from a single location. A Super Administrator at the corporate IT level assigns, installs, and maintains AICE.

- Enterprise Shared-Database - This edition is for a standardized group-wide infection control surveillance program. The Central Office purchases AICE for participating facilities in its group and maintains a customized, common AICE database that is shared across facilities. Data collection and screen design are determined prior to installation. Individual facilities enter, edit, and analyze their facility's data, and the Central Office analyzes and compares data from all facilities. Individual facilities design additional databases for use at their own facility. All facilities' Annual Maintenance and Service Agreement (AMSA) fees are combined for yearly payment from the Central Office. AICE resides on a wide-area network server, and a Super Administrator at the corporate IT level assigns, installs, and maintains AICE for the Central Office and participating facilities.

It used to take me a full day to run monthly reports, but using AICE I can get them printed and mailed in two hours. One of the best reports is doing yearly surgeon specific reports. They get their individual rates compared with their peers. This specific feedback has resulted in a 30% decrease of rates.
