Deborah Martin
Deborah Martin is ICPA's Chief Executive Officer and the
managing partner. She is instrumental in software design,
technical writing, and management of the company's daily operations.
She served as a hospital and public health nurse and taught
med-surg nursing for 3 years at the UT School of Nursing.
Following an eight year tenure as Nurse Epidemiologist for
the Texas Department of Health, she left to open the Austin
office of ICPA in 1988. Debbie has co-authored numerous investigative
articles in epidemiology and medical journals, including "A
Mysterious Cluster of Deaths and Cardiopulmonary Arrests in
a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit" in the New England Journal
of Medicine.

Tracy Gustafson
Tracy Gustafson is a Board-certified pediatrician and the Vice-president of Research and Development for ICPA.
Dr. Gustafson began
his career in epidemiology as an Epidemiology Intelligence
Service Officer for the Centers for Disease Control. Later,
he served as Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases
in the Texas Department of Health. He has developed software
solutions for biostatistical analysis, food-borne outbreaks,
infectious disease surveillance, and The Joint Commision readiness assessment,
as well as contributed years of work on all of the current
ICPA software products. He has published more than 25 articles
in peer-reviewed medical journals.
