“Respond increases proficiency and effectiveness in maintaining Federal and State mandatory requirements (e.g., annual TB testing and Fit-testing) as well as scheduling future appointments. It is a one-stop site for all employee health info! By sorting injuries, it provided the data which helped my drive to purchase equipment to reduce staff injuries due to lifting, transferring, and moving of patients. It is used to report injuries and illnesses, as well as exposures to bloodborne pathogens – all of which can be easily transferred to the OSHA 300 and OSHA 300A forms. I like the ability to designate a “privacy concern case” – in case the OSHA log is reviewed by a regulatory agency. Since I started using Respond in December 2001, our rates for annual TB testing for compliance have steadily increased, and we have maintained a 100% compliance for 2 years. The ability to track missing scheduled dates and send a letter is a great time saver.”
